Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking a Contents Cleaning & Restoration Technician to help residents and businesses recover after fire, water, or storm damage. You will clean, pack, move, and restore belongings, ensuring items are cared for and returned to pre-loss condition.

This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork, physical activity, and dedication to delivering an industry-leading service. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces.
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Comfort working with and around cleaning agents and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities, including inventory, packing, and cleaning of personal property and contents.
• Safely move, lift, and relocate furniture and belongings as part of the cleaning and restoration process.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies for each project.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors about safety hazards, job site findings, and equipment needs.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas and equipment for each project.
• Perform cleaning and restoration tasks with attention to detail and care for customer belongings.
• Assist with end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the job site is left clean and orderly.
• Learn and develop restoration and cleaning skills to grow within SERVPRO and strengthen our brand.

Contents Cleaning & Restoration Technician

This is a hands‑on role that requires teamwork, physical activity, and pride in doing work that helps others.

Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
