DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:



  • Conceptualizes and writes customer-facing support content for websites, chat bots, and other channels.

  • Writes agent-facing support content and messaging that is technically accurate, relevant, and ensures consumer satisfaction while maintaining the Nintendo brand.

  • Reviews and provides feedback on content written by others.

  • Proof-reads and performs copy QA.

  • Collaborates across NOA, regional, and global teams to ensure accuracy, awareness, creative direction and key messages in scripts.

  • As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson; successful completion of training required.



SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum of three years of professional creative writing experience.

  • Strong knowledge of the video game industry.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Strong technical or creative writing skills, in-depth knowledge of grammar and spelling mandatory.

  • Copywriting, editing, and/or proofreading experience

  • HTML skills required, Photoshop, Illustrator experience preferred.

  • Experience with large, well-known consumer brands and/or agency is a plus.

  • Undergraduate degree, and/or professional certification in English, Communications, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.



This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
