AvidXchange is seeking a Content Strategy Manager in Charlotte, NC to guide prospects through the marketing funnel by developing content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts, shape messaging, and own the content lifecycle from research through publication.

Successful candidates bring strong writing, storytelling, and project-management skills, plus experience leveraging audience insights and performance data to drive content decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 3+ years creating high-quality marketing content and managing content from strategy to publication.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and meeting tight deadlines.

Role overview

As a Content Strategy Manager, you will be an integral member of the AvidXchange marketing team, helping to guide prospects through the marketing funnel by developing winning content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, strong writing abilities, project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop and amplify content.

What you’ll do

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive, full-funnel content strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives
• Collaborate with demand generation, digital, and public relations to distribute content across channels
• Use audience research, competitor analysis, and content performance to inform content strategy decisions
• Manage all aspects of content creation, including strategy, research, writing, editing, and production
• Apply SEO best practices to improve content discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search experiences
• Support ongoing maintenance of the content library, including content updates, categorization, and lifecycle management

What we’relooking for

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Three or more years of experience developing high-quality marketing content and managing the content process from strategy through publication
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills, supported by a strong portfolio of content and content strategy work
• Experience developing and optimizing digital content using audience insights, performance data, SEO and AI-powered search best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in B2B SaaS, fintech or another complex or regulated industry and familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics and Semrush preferred
