Job summary

Pure Desire Ministries is seeking a Content Strategist to build our content strategy from the ground up, including YouTube, email marketing, and editorial planning. This is a fully remote role that reports to the Marketing Director.

The right candidate will design systems, own channel growth, and craft cross‑channel campaigns that move ministry goals forward, with a focus on audience segmentation, analytics, and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of content strategy and multi‑channel marketing.
• Experience owning and growing a YouTube channel with optimization for clicks.
• Ability to repurpose long‑form content for Shorts and reels across platforms.
• Comfort reading YouTube Analytics and translating data into editorial decisions.
• Experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a master content calendar aligned with campaigns and ministry priorities.
• Own YouTube channel strategy, including planning, growth initiatives, and analytics.
• Develop and execute email marketing strategies, including nurture sequences and broadcasts.
• Oversee blog/SEO strategy to increase visibility and engagement.
• Map content across audience segments and translate data into insights.
• Build audience segmentation within the CRM for personalized communications.
