What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and quality assurance for new medical policies and analyze current policies
- Provide coding, claims processing, and industry expertise to develop clinical coding policies
- Collaborate with product teams to offer clinical expertise for new policy rollout
- Manage timelines and multiple projects while ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform multi-faceted analytics for data and report analysis with minimal direction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in Nursing, Pharmacy (BSPharm or PharmD), or equivalent offshore medical/pharmacy degree
- Must have or be willing to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, etc.) within one year of employment
- Minimum of 3 years in a clinical/retail setting or clinical coding in a payer setting
- Additional 3 years of research experience related to coding or relevant internal role experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of experience in detailed rule requirement gathering, rule development, and collaborating on software enhancements
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
