Summary:

Self Storage Income LLC is seeking a skilled and creative Content & Social Media Manager to support brand growth and visibility across digital platforms. This role is responsible for managing the social media strategy and execution for the CEO’s personal brand and affiliated companies, ensuring consistent publishing, audience engagement, and high-quality content delivery.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Content Producer and CEO to coordinate and repurpose long-form video and podcast content into short-form digital assets across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Responsibilities include overseeing the content calendar, collaborating with editors, capturing and editing social media content, and supporting community engagement.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who’s comfortable behind a camera, confident creating and editing short-form content, and capable of keeping up in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. While this position will not be responsible for full-scale video production, candidates should have the ability to produce and edit quick-turnaround social clips when needed.

Candidates must reside in the Boise, Idaho area . Occasional travel will be required to capture content at company events or on-location shoots.

The Content & Social Media Manager’s responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

Social Media & Brand Content Management
  • Manage and schedule social media content across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Repurpose long-form YouTube and podcast content into short-form video (reels, shorts, highlights)
  • Maintain a consistent social media calendar and publishing cadence
  • Capture content behind the scenes or on-location as needed
  • Engage with followers and respond to DMs/comments within 24 hours
  • Stay current with trends, best practices, and competitor activity to inform content strategy
  • Track content performance and support monthly reporting
  • Collaborate with editors and internal team to ensure timely delivery of content
Video Production & Light Editing
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content using DSLR/mirrorless cameras
  • Operate basic audio and lighting equipment during in-house or event shoots
  • Edit short-form content using tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar
  • Format and prep content for social media platforms as needed
  • Deliver content bundles to the team weekly
Content Organization & Distribution
  • Maintain an organized content library (Google Drive or equivalent)
  • Label, tag, back up, and archive media assets regularly
  • Coordinate the distribution of finished content across platforms
  • Track the status of content (recorded → edited → published) in a shared calendar
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in social media management, video content creation, or digital marketing
  • Proficiency in camera operation, basic lighting, and sound setup
  • Experience with editing short-form video for social platforms (reels, TikToks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with social platforms and content publishing tools
  • Strong visual and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative teams and working directly with leadership
  • Prior experience working with content creators, influencers, or personal brands is a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Work is performed primarily in-office and on-location using standard and creative equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds (e.g., camera gear, lighting equipment)
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods
  • Occasional travel required for events, recordings, or content capture opportunities
Schedule & Benefits:
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends on occasion for travel or events)
