Job summary

Matinee Social Club, an NYC-based events company, seeks an agency or freelancer to own content creation and storytelling for all events in NYC. This role will manage social media and email marketing to drive ticket sales, with a small team dynamic and weekend event content capture.

The ideal candidate is NYC-based, with 2+ years in content creation or social media, comfortable with Photoshop/Canva and video editing software, and able to balance aesthetics with performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a content creator and/or social media manager – ideally in events and/or hospitality.
• NYC-based
• Comfortable with graphic editing software (Photoshop and/or Canva)
• Comfortable with video editing software
• Able to balance aesthetics with performance
• Available to capture content at select events in person on weekends

Responsibilities

• Develop content strategy & storytelling for all events.
• Work with photographers/videographers to gather assets and capture content at events.
• Post reels, stories, and feed content regularly; manage content calendar.
