Job summary

JoVE, the world-leading science video solutions provider, is seeking a detail-oriented Content Reviewer to ensure the quality, clarity, accuracy, and consistency of educational and corporate training content.

You will review written materials and videos across academic subjects and professional development topics, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with content creators to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences required.
• Experience in content editing, reviewing, or quality control in academic, educational, or corporate training contexts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Review written educational and corporate training content for grammar, clarity, readability, accuracy, and coherence.
• Review educational and corporate training videos for narrative consistency, pacing, clarity of instructional messages, and learning effectiveness.
• Evaluate the logical structure and flow of content to ensure concepts are presented cohesively and are easy to understand.
• Identify and flag content errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues to meet quality standards.
• Assess whether materials are appropriate for intended audience (academic learners or working professionals).
• Develop familiarity with academic disciplines and professional learning topics to support effective content delivery.
• Provide constructive feedback to content creators and collaborate with team members to maintain quality.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Content Reviewer to ensure the quality, clarity, accuracy, and consistency of educational and corporate training content. The role involves reviewing written content and videos across academic subjects and professional development topics to ensure they are accurate, engaging, logically structured, and aligned with intended learning objectives. The content may include academic learning materials, educational videos, corporate training modules, and workplace learning content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review written educational and corporate training content for grammar, clarity, readability, accuracy, and coherence, ensuring alignment with intended learning objectives.
• Review educational and corporate training videos for narrative consistency, pacing, clarity of instructional messages, and overall learning effectiveness. Ensure that audio and visuals are clear and aligned with the script.
• Evaluate the logical structure and flow of written and video content to ensure concepts are presented cohesively and are easy for the intended audience to understand.
• Identify and flag content errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues, ensuring that materials meet the organization’s quality standards.
• Assess whether educational and corporate training content is appropriate for its intended audience, whether academic learners or working professionals.
• Develop familiarity with the requirements of different academic disciplines and professional learning topics to support accurate and effective content delivery.
• Provide constructive feedback to content creators and collaborate with team members to maintain the quality and consistency of educational and corporate training materials.

• PhD in Life Sciences.
• Experience in content editing, reviewing, or quality control, preferably in academic, educational, or corporate training contexts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, readability, and narrative flow.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining content accuracy, clarity, coherence, and quality.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with academic standards, educational formats, or corporate learning content.
• Experience in instructional design or working with e-learning platforms is an added advantage.
