Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Content Protection Representative to review UMG digital and physical assets for infringement and respond to internal inquiries, including Spanish-speaking labels. You will collaborate with international trade groups to enforce rights and stay current with digital trends in the recording industry.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 0–1+ years of experience in music/digital media, and familiarity with anti-piracy, copyright, or trademarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0-1+ years’ work experience in music, digital media, entertainment, technology, or related fields.
• Familiarity with anti-piracy, copyright, or trademarks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess & review online uses of UMG digital and physical assets (including publishing), to detect infringement of our rights.
• Handling inquiries from our internal business units and labels (including Spanish-speaking labels).
• Work with our international trade groups to enforce our rights.
• Staying abreast of digital trends related to the recording industry.
