The Content Production Specialist is a key team player in ensuring the successful execution of our client’s product designs. In this role, you will provide technical production expertise combined with a strong sense of design and technical acumen to uphold the high standards of quality and design that define our client. We seek an experienced Production Specialist/Engineer passionate about technical production and workflow processes. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver successful products for our client’s tools and users.

Description

Your primary responsibility will be translating designs into technical products—templates and themes—across multiple applications. This requires impeccable production skills in layout, typography, and color, with a keen eye for inconsistencies. You should have experience managing production teams and complex workflows, with a focus on how end users will experience templates and apps on macOS and iOS, including new features. Organized, with well-structured files, you will meet tight deadlines, solve problems, handle tedious tasks, and adapt quickly to change, all while maintaining high standards and aesthetic sensibility.

Detailed Description

Tool Content (templates)

  • Manage and develop workflows for production
  • Collaborate with Content Design to create new templates
  • Build and test new templates, ensuring accuracy and functionality
  • Audit templates for features, imagery, and placeholder text
  • Pressure test templates to identify discrepancies and work with engineering to resolve issues
  • Conduct AX testing and internal QA to ensure quality and bug-free delivery

New Feature Implementation

  • Work with engineering, design, and HI teams on new features
  • Manage content creation and import processes alongside feature development

GitHub

  • Manage repositories, track changes, and resolve conflicts
  • Use SourceTree and Terminal for repository management
  • Deploy updates, create pull requests, and coordinate workflow impacts

Radar

  • Investigate and fix bugs, understanding app functionality and template intent
  • Diagnose issues, communicate findings, and collaborate on fixes with design team

Native Tools

  • Coordinate updates to Ginger Native Tools (GNT) with engineering
  • Test and implement improvements to native tools
  • Address localization bugs, ensuring design integrity across regions
Education and/or Experience & Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Management experience in related fields

The target hourly compensation range is $76.50 to $85, based on education, experience, certifications, and location.
