Marketing Associate - Content/Video Production
Location: Hybrid | Overland Park, KS
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus Eligibility
Overview
A Financial Services client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Producer to join their growing marketing team. This role will serve as a key driver of the firm's multimedia content strategy, producing engaging video content that supports thought leadership, market commentary, investment insights, podcasts, media appearances, and advisor communications.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong video production and editing expertise with a solid understanding of financial services terminology, investment concepts, and capital markets. The successful candidate will help transform complex financial topics into compelling visual content for advisors, clients, prospects, and industry audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
- Lead the production, editing, and delivery of high-quality video content across multiple channels.
- Edit interviews, market updates, investment commentary, educational content, podcasts, webinars, and executive thought leadership videos.
- Manage projects from concept development through post-production and final distribution.
- Create compelling graphics, captions, animations, and visual elements that enhance viewer engagement.
- Optimize content for social media, websites, email campaigns, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Maintain brand consistency across all multimedia content.
- Partner with podcast hosts, executives, investment professionals, and external media organizations to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Coordinate video recording sessions, podcast interviews, and media appearances.
- Repurpose long-form podcast and interview content into shorter clips optimized for digital distribution.
- Manage content calendars and production schedules tied to media partnerships and thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment professionals, and subject matter experts to translate complex financial concepts into engaging visual stories.
- Develop content that covers market trends, economic insights, investment strategies, retirement planning, and other financial topics.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial terminology and messaging across all multimedia content.
- Support compliance review processes and maintain adherence to regulatory marketing requirements.
Digital Content Distribution
- Publish and manage video content across websites, social media channels, and marketing platforms.
- Monitor content performance and engagement metrics.
- Provide recommendations for improving audience reach, engagement, and content effectiveness.
- Assist with broader digital marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 or more years of professional video production, videography, or video editing experience.
- Experience creating content within financial services, wealth management, asset management, investment management, banking, insurance, fintech, or financial media environments.
- Strong understanding of financial terminology, investment products, capital markets, and economic concepts.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Experience producing and editing podcast, interview, webinar, or thought leadership content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Journalism, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience supporting financial advisors, investment firms, RIAs, asset managers, or financial publishers.
- Familiarity with social media video strategy and content optimization.
- Experience working in a regulated industry and navigating compliance review processes.
- Knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, and digital marketing platforms.
