CarGurus is seeking a Content Engineer to operate and improve the systems and workflows powering our content. You’ll manage structured content in our headless CMS, coordinate multiple editorial workflows, and ensure accuracy, brand voice, and search friendliness across markets.

You’ll work with editors, SEO partners, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to turn content requirements into repeatable processes, using AirOps and AI-assisted tools to speed production while maintaining quality.

Formación

• Strong technical fluency and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
• Experience managing structured content, databases, CMS platforms, workflow tools, or production queues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical partners.
• Genuine interest in cars and automotive content.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain a structured database of content, including records, fields, statuses, metadata, templates, relationships, and update schedules.
• Operate day-to-day publishing and refresh workflows across multiple content types, markets, and production queues.
• Coordinate intake through review, revision, approval, publishing, and post-publication quality checks.
• Configure and maintain Contentful models, entries, templates, and workflow states.
• Use AirOps, LLM tools, and related AI-assisted workflows to support content creation, enrichment, updating, and quality control.
• Review generated or data-informed content for accuracy, completeness, clarity, consistency, brand voice, and usefulness to car shoppers.
• Monitor workflow output and investigate issues such as missing data, incorrect formatting, duplicate records, broken links, stale content, or failed production steps.
