Job summary

SPCA of Texas in Dallas, TX seeks a Manager, Content to own our storytelling engine across marketing channels. You will plan, develop and execute content that informs, engages, and advances fundraising and education initiatives.

Lead a small content team and coordinate with departments to ensure accurate, brand-aligned storytelling. The role requires strong editorial judgment, multi-project management, and the ability to work across departments in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage editorial strategy, content priorities, and publishing across blogs, social, video, web, and emerging platforms aligned with organizational priorities.
• Plan, write, and publish content across blogs, web stories, marketing copy, and storytelling opportunities.
• Identify, create, and coordinate compelling stories to support fundraising, marketing, PR, education, and community engagement.
• Maintain an editorial calendar with cross-organizational input and efficient workflows.
• Supervise two direct reports in social media, photography, and videography; oversee online reputation across platforms.
