Content Manager (Founder Brand)

Hybrid: New York City

Salary range: $72,000-$100,000 basic (depending on experience) + options

Reporting to: Head of Brand Marketing

The Duel Brand Advocacy Platform allows enterprise brands to do just that, scaling how they manage their relationships with thousands of advocates, customers, creators and brand ambassadors. We’re proud today that brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Charlotte Tilbury, Spanx, Victoria’s Secret and Elemis (to name a few, but not to name some household names that we can’t talk about yet) are doing just that. The Role

At Duel, we don’t just build, we build once and scale everywhere. Whether it’s a relationship, a piece of content, an idea, or a framework, we create with purpose to maximise impact.

We’re looking for a Content Manager to own the creation and distribution of founder brand content, helping to firmly establish Duel’s founder, Paul Archer, as the builder and epicentre of the Brand Advocacy Category. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Brand Marketing and the CEO/Founder, you’ll build, scale and distribute thought leadership content to amplify Duel’s brand to attract, engage and inspire marketing leaders at the world’s best DTC brands, as well as influencers and the wider industry.

We need a cutting-edge content producer - as comfortable with producing podcasts and BTS videos as they are with PR and B2B social, with content distribution skills that guarantee the right people see it and share it. Someone who knows what it takes to turn transformative ideas into must-view moments. Duel’s success depends on creating awareness and excitement about Brand Advocacy among our ICP brands, and delivering ideas and inspiration that empower them to act.

We’re looking for someone who will…
  • Turn our founder brand strategy into action, creating and distributing content that builds the following and reputation of Duel’s founder and CEO

  • Run the production, logistics, and necessary social & distribution channels for a new weekly podcast; to be hosted by the founder, in collaboration with a key industry player

  • Support on production, logistics and distribution for the top-rated Building Brand Advocacy podcast in the US (co-hosted by the founder) in collaboration with our UK-based Content Manager

  • Closely collaborate with other Duel and third party content creators to build complimentary content plans, sharing ideas and execution across projects

  • Create and activate multi-format, multi-channel content in collaboration with Duel’s founder/CEO, ensuring it resonates with the target audience while staying true to brand voice and tone

  • Support on multi-format asset creation for our Building Brand Advocacy and Duel properties

  • Test new formats and channels for content delivery, creating the optimum mix to increase awareness, engagement and affinity

  • Confidently leverage tools and technologies to streamline content production and distribution, including but not limited to AI-based solutions, social platforms, third spaces, audio/video production and creative tools

  • Execute Duel’s PR and Influencer strategies in New York City, ensuring they contribute to growing the Brand Advocacy category, as well as Duel’s business

  • Meet Duel’s goals and KPIs for content, ensuring that it drives the awareness, education and brand affinity that supports Duel’s growth goals

  • You have 3+ years of content experience across multiple formats, with an emphasis on distribution

  • You love storytelling - and are equally passionate about ensuring that story gets in front of as many relevant people as possible

  • You’re have expertise across multiple content channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn and Meta

  • You love creating content that cuts through and get excited about building a following that spans multiple channels

  • You deeply understand the creator space from the inside out, and understand how content consumption is changing

In-person and remote working balance ...
  • We have a small HQ in London (Holborn) and a growing team of people in our NYC office.

  • Although we have a flexible hybrid approach, our NYC office will have a 3 days minimum in office requirement, priority will be given to candidates who want to spend some days in a shared space partnering with the team.
