Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Content Manager to join our team as a contractor. This role will serve as the strategic bridge between our editorial team, executive leadership, and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial content creation and management, with proven experience in editorial planning and contributor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive content calendars aligned with market trends, educational content, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with our Editor and management to ensure content strategy supports overall business goals
• Monitor market developments and breaking financial news to adjust content priorities as needed
• Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with guest contributors and expert analysts
• Establish editorial guidelines and quality standards for external contributors
• Coordinate submission schedules, review processes, and publication timelines
• Maintain a database of contributor expertise areas and contact information

Business Development Support

• Partner with the business development team to create complementary content publishing opportunities
• Develop content packages and editorial offerings for potential partners and sponsors
• Ensure sponsored content maintains editorial integrity while meeting partner objectives

Editorial Coordination

• Work closely with the editorial team to maintain consistent voice, style, and quality standards
• Oversee content production workflows and publication schedules
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external contributors

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of content management experience, preferably in financial media or fintech
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading concepts
• Proven track record managing editorial calendars and content production workflows
• Experience working with freelance writers and guest contributors
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with content management systems and editorial tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in finance, economics, or business journalism
• Experience with SEO and content optimization
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements for published content
• Existing network of financial industry contacts and potential contributors
• Experience with sponsored content and native advertising
