Job summary

Roku seeks a Software Engineer for the Content Ingestion team to design, build, and maintain ingestion pipelines processing millions of assets across linear feeds and multimedia files. You’ll power real-time content matching and AI-driven insights for Roku's platform.

You will work across cloud and on-prem environments (AWS/GCP), creating APIs, batch jobs, and infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, while liaising with US partners and the Seoul team to ensure smooth data flow and reliable

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on software engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, C++, or Go; strong Linux skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and batch jobs for asset ingestion.
• Create and manage infrastructure for on-premise and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical production services.
• Collaborate with US content partners and the Seoul team to coordinate data ingestion.
