Taco is an AI-Assisted Organic Search firm dedicated to enhancing our clients' online presence through innovative strategies in AI search. We combine cutting-edge technology with expert insights to deliver exceptional results. We are looking for a detail-oriented editor to join our fast-growing team.

Position Overview:

The content editor will be responsible for editing cutting-edge content to help our clients rank and drive visibility across platforms like Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong editorial skills, a solid understanding of SEO, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Core Responsibilities:

• Edit, refine, and proof client content across formats (articles, email, web copy, case studies, landing pages, etc.)
• Enforce client voice, tone, and messaging across deliverables
• Collaborate with search strategists to translate briefs into compelling content
• Maintain style guides and editorial frameworks for clients and internal use
• Ensure content aligns with SEO, conversion, and performance best practices
• Work with internal growth engineers to optimize content workflows
• Partner with growth engineers, account managers, and client contacts to adapt content for performance
• Support content strategy through calendar input, idea development, and prioritization
• Occasionally write or rewrite copy to ensure quality and cohesion

Qualifications:

• 3+ years editing experience in an agency, media, or content-focused role
• Exceptional line editing and copyediting skills; strong grammar and storytelling instincts
• Ability to switch between brand voices and client industries (e.g., Healthcare, SaaS, fintech, DTC)
• Experience with SEO, conversion-oriented content, and content calendars
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with modern CMS tools (e.g., Webflow, WordPress) and collaborative docs (Google Docs, Notion, etc.)
• Bonus: Background in UX writing, journalism, or performance marketing
