Job summary

Manifest is hiring a full-time Content Designer / Author with CMS expertise and agency experience to join our Production team. In this role, you'll build and optimize web pages, primarily in Contentful, prepare digital assets, and partner with Creative, Account and Production teams to bring client work to life - accurately, on brand and on schedule.

This role can be based (hybrid) Chicago or St. Joseph, MI, with a flexible PTO plan and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on CMS experience (AEM, Contentful) in an agency
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Experience creating content for digital platforms - e-commerce or D2C preferred
• Ability to interpret visual, written and verbal direction, and organize your own work
• Knack for connecting the dots and solving problems before they surface
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor updates to existing code

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize web pages in Contentful, translating approved page mockups into live site pages that match design intent and brand standards.
• Slice, resize and export image assets from provided design files for web, blog and other digital channels.
• Work closely with Production leadership as well as other departments to ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Understand visual, written & verbal instructions. Organize and schedule your own work.
• Balance multiple projects with overlapping priorities and varying degrees of urgency.
• Troubleshoot creative and technical challenges to find effective, thorough solutions.
• Adopt new tools and practices as the work evolves, communicating changes to the team.
• Present work internally with support of creative leadership.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Experience creating content for digital platforms - e-commerce or D2C experience strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret visual, written and verbal direction, and to organize and schedule your own work
• A knack for connecting the dots and solving problems before they surface
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor updates to existing custom code preferred
