**Summary:**

We are looking for a experienced Content Design Leader to join the Avatars and Economy pillars in Horizon Experiences. This person will lead a growing team of Content Designers defining emerging products in the Metaverse across mobile, desktop, and MR/VR. — facilitating simple, straightforward and human experiences by leveraging expertise in user experience design, design thinking, product strategy and content.The Avatars Pillar is responsible for building and evolving the Avatars system across the Metaverse and Meta’s Family of Apps, including new forms of digital representation and expression, serving user and platform needs from creation to immersive interactions. The Economy Pillar is responsible for connecting people to Metaverse content they’ll love, motivating meaningful in-world / in-app investments (pay & play), and supporting the growing community of creators & developers who build our supply of digital content & goods.

**Required Skills:**

Content Design Manager - Metaverse Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team that delivers on multiple projects or programs across regions or business groups.

2. Build internal community (for example, drive inclusion, onboard new employees, and connect people on your team with new opportunities).

3. Provide regular performance feedback, check-ins and reviews for people who report to you.

4. Coach team members to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers.

5. Build the teams and skills necessary for long-term growth, both within and outside the organization.

6. Help to recruit highly talented people to join the content design team, and onboard cross-functionally.

7. Provide content design for complex features for the global Facebook Inc. audience.

8. Actively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and exec stakeholders.

9. Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and content templates that keep the team nimble and successful in an environment that values moving fast and iterating quickly.

10. Share your own work and give feedback to teammates in a variety of settings.

11. Promote content design at Meta and in the broader design and content communities.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

12. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ of years experience in content design or a related field

13. 5+ years of experience directly managing, coaching and developing full-time employees

14. Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-performing employees

**Public Compensation:**

$174,000/year to $238,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
