Content Creator in Business Studies, including Economics, Accounting, and Finance

We are seeking a charismatic and creative Content Creator for a full-time, permanent position. You will develop engaging video content focused on Business Studies, including Economics, Accounting, and Finance.

Our Team

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world’s most helpful video courses, helping millions of students succeed. We seek someone to lead the development of comprehensive video courses for business subjects, including being the main instructor (see an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs0cOlOxQFs).

Your Duties & Responsibilities

• Co-lead the development of video courses in business studies, including accounting and finance.
• Plan curricula and individual lessons.
• Write lesson worksheets and problems, and record lessons.
• Develop team goals and contribute to hiring, training, and process improvements.
• Participate in regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST for planning and review.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
• High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
• Effective feedback exchange with team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience.
• Quiet home recording space (equipment provided by Pearson).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring college students in related fields.
• Experience developing curricula or assessments.
• Experience creating educational videos.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (business, finance, accounting).
• Familiarity with video recording equipment/software or willingness to learn.
• Engagement with students on social media (preferred).
