Content Creator in Business Studies, including Economics, Accounting, and Finance

We are seeking a charismatic and creative Content Creator to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. Your main responsibility will be developing engaging video content focused on Business Studies, including Economics, Accounting, and Finance.

Our Team

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world’s most helpful video courses, assisting millions of students to succeed in their studies. We are looking for someone to join our Business Studies Team as the lead instructor for comprehensive video courses in business subjects (please see this example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs0cOlOxQFs).

Your Duties & Responsibilities

1. Co-lead the development of video courses in business studies, including accounting and finance.
2. Co-plan comprehensive curricula and individual lessons.
3. Co-write lesson worksheets and problems, and record lessons and problems.
4. Set and monitor annual, quarterly, and weekly goals for your team.
5. Provide and receive feedback to improve team outputs.
6. Contribute to hiring, training, and process improvements.
7. Participate in regular meetings between 9 am-5 pm EST for planning, editing, and reviewing work.
8. Perform other reasonable duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring college students in business-related fields within the past three years.
• Experience developing curricula, assessments, or educational publishing.
• Experience creating educational videos.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field, preferably in business, accounting, or finance.
• Experience with video recording equipment/software or willingness to learn.
• Experience engaging with students on social media or willingness to do so.
