Content Creator in Business Studies, Accounting & Finance

We are seeking a charismatic and creative Content Creator for a full-time, permanent position. You will develop engaging video content focused on business studies, including accounting and finance.

Our Team

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world’s most helpful video courses, helping millions of students succeed. We seek someone to join our Business Studies Team to lead the development of comprehensive video courses, serving as the main instructor. Your Duties & Responsibilities

• Co-lead development of video courses in business studies, including accounting and finance.
• Plan curricula and individual lessons.
• Write lesson worksheets and problems; record lessons and problems.
• Develop goals for your team on an annual, quarterly, and weekly basis.
• Provide and receive feedback to improve work products.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and process improvements.
• Join regular meetings between 9 am-5 pm EST to plan, edit, and review work.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
• High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
• Effective in giving and receiving feedback.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable in managing workload and completing tasks efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use a quiet home recording space (equipment provided by Pearson).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring college students in relevant fields within the past three years.
• Experience developing curricula, assessments, or educational content.
• Experience creating educational videos.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (business, accounting, finance, etc.).
• Experience with video recording equipment/software or willingness to learn.
• Engagement with students on social media.
