Job Title: Content Creator - Business Studies (Remote, Full-Time)

We are seeking a charismatic and creative Content Creator to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. In this position, you will develop engaging video content focused on business studies, including accounting and finance.

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world’s most helpful video courses, supporting millions of students to succeed. We are looking for someone to join our Business Studies Team to lead the development of comprehensive video courses. Click here for an example of our work.

Your Duties & Responsibilities

1. Co-lead the development of video courses in business studies, including accounting and finance.
2. Plan curricula and individual lessons.
3. Write lesson worksheets and problems, record lessons and problems.
4. Develop goals for your team on an annual, quarterly, and weekly basis.
5. Provide and receive feedback to improve team outputs.
6. Assist in hiring, training, and improving standards and processes.
7. Participate in regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST to plan, edit, and review work.
8. Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, effectively, and engagingly.
• High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability in managing workload and completing tasks efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use a quiet home recording space (equipment provided by Pearson).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring college students in business-related fields within the past three years.
• Experience developing curricula, assessments, or educational publishing.
• Experience creating educational video content.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (business, accounting, finance, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with video recording equipment and software, or willingness to learn.
• Engagement with students on social media is a plus.
