Daily Harvest is looking for a junior-level,TikTok-savvy Content Creator (contract position) to serve as a primary source of our owned social content and UGC. This role is for someone who lives on TikTok, understands how trends actually work (not just how to recreate them), and can adapt internet culture into content that feels unmistakably Daily Harvest.

You should have a comedic sensibility, strong on-camera presence, and a sharp instinct for what will make people stop scrolling. You’re equally comfortable riffing on a trending sound, reacting to a wellness claim, or creating character-driven formats that give the brand a real personality.

This role is highly collaborative. We’re looking for someone who can come into our New York office minimum 2 days per week to brainstorm, shoot, and stay closely connected to what’s happening across the brand, from product launches and campaigns to cultural moments we want to jump on quickly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary on-camera creator for Daily Harvest’s owned social channels
• Own short-form content creation end-to-end, including concepting, filming, editing, writing, hook optimization, and publishing.
• Track, interpret, and adapt TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and creator behaviors in ways that feel authentic to Daily Harvest
• Plan content against brand priorities and upcoming initiatives, contributing to content calendars and aligning deliverables to launches, campaigns, and key moments (while maintaining flexibility for reactive, trend-driven content)
• Own monthly performance reviews, including:
• Tracking views, engagement, saves, and shares
• Synthesizing trend performance and key learnings
• Applying insights to improve future content
• Stay plugged into platform changes, emerging creators, and evolving social formats
• Bring a comedic, personality-forward lens to health, food, and wellness content

Key Skills & Experience

• 0–2 years of experience creating short-form video content (internships, freelance work, personal accounts, or brand experience all count)
• Self-sufficient content creation, able to take ideas from concept to post with minimal oversight
• TikTok-first creative instincts, with the ability to adapt content for Instagram Reels
• Strong on-camera presence and personality-driven delivery
• Creative judgment and brand sensibility, especially when participating in trends
• Fast execution and adaptability in a real-time, test-and-learn environment
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally
