POSITION OVERVIEW The primary role of the Content Creation Specialist is to execute and support efforts to increase visibility and interest in the University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute (TLI). Responsibilities include assisting in planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts. The successful candidate will have strong writing and storytelling skills and be able to create compelling, audience-focused content across platforms. They will be able to translate complex academic and career-focused information into clear, engaging stories. They must also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail, prioritize and meet deadlines, and work well in a team environment.
This is a 100% time, 12-month, Civil Service position; salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. TLI staff operate on a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in‑office and 2 days remote. In-person presence is required for various events such as TLI graduation ceremony, Capstone Week presentations, alumni and community building events, and staff retreats. The Content Creation Specialist reports to the Digital Marketing & Communications Director.

Pay Range: $26.45-$28.85 ($55,016-$60,008); depending on education/qualifications/experience
