The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics and experience in instructional design, alongside proficiency in LaTeX. Learnvia is a Carnegie Mellon University initiative focused on transforming post-secondary math education through research-driven, AI-enhanced courseware. We collaborate with faculty, researchers, and institutional partners to develop innovative, evidence-based learning experiences. We are seeking a Content Author to lead the development of engaging, interactive Calculus content for mobile-first learning materials. This role is central to creating high-quality resources that help college-level students succeed in Calculus and related math courses. The ideal candidate combines deep Calculus expertise with a passion for education, clear communication, and experience designing interactive digital learning experiences.
As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with other authors, engineers, and educators to deliver modern alternatives to traditional textbooks and homework, transforming how students learn and apply Calculus concepts.
