Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Power Generation Containerization in Sidney, OH. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and launching a new line of large-scale, containerized power generation solutions for mission-critical data centers.

You will translate knowledge from acquired businesses into scalable, manufacturable designs. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical design for power generation, experience with generator packaging, and a strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of electrical design experience in power generation or related industries.
Experience designing power distribution systems and generator equipment.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for containerized and modular power generation packages.
Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring drawings, and panel layouts.
Design and integrate generator packaging, ATS, switchgear, and LV/MV distribution equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
Support FAT/SAT testing and field installations.
Provide technical leadership during project execution.
