Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator in Asheville, NC to repair, weld and paint containers and roll-off boxes.

The role involves MIG/ARC welding, fabrication with brakes and shears, plasma cutting, and applying decals, while following safety procedures. Responsibilities include repairing containers, installing lids and wheels, maintaining documentation, and supporting complex repairs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified welder. Advanced knowledge of MIG & stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers. Familiar with basic use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components using a brake and shear.
