Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Container Maintenance Tech to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on compactors, with focus on electrical and hydraulic systems. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment to maximize operation.

Travel to customer locations within the region may be required. CDL is not required. Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related repair experience, or 4 years of related maintenance.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The compacter repair technician performs repairs and maintenance to compactors to maximize operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Compacter Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on compactors.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
• May travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

Required:

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Valid drivers license.

Preferred:

• Mechanical or trade school certificate
• Certificate in electronic diagnostics
• ASE certificate
• Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.
