Job summary

Seaboard Marine is seeking a Maintenance & Repair professional in the Miami area to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on intermodal equipment used in national and international shipping. You will inspect, repair, and document work on containers, chassis, and related gear, using welding and standard tools in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires welding expertise, attention to safety, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years of industry-related experience repairing/intermodal equipment.
• Advanced Stick and MIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of container repair standards and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs on intermodal equipment including containers, flat racks, and chassis.
• Document inspections and repairs in the DST system or handheld device.
• Utilize hand and power tools and welders to repair or restructure equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
