Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a skilled Welder to join our shop team. You will repair and fabricate containers, fleet equipment, and related components using MIG, ARC, and plasma cutting methods in a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities include welding, fabrication, assembly, and performing preventive maintenance while adhering to our quality standards. Candidates should have welding experience and the ability to operate shop tools and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIG/ARC and stick welding preferred.
• One year welding and cutting experience or completion of a technical training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on containers, fleet vehicles, and related parts.
• Weld steel using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components on containers and install lids, wheels, and lock setups.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with standards.
• Operate standard shop tools and assist with other shop projects as needed.
