Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a Data Analyst who will own analytic data needs for the business unit, lead complex data projects, and guide other analysts. The role emphasizes Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and healthcare data expertise to drive actionable insights across claims, provider, and member data.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data analysis, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with enterprise data assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations for call center analytics and operational data.
• Provide advanced analytical support for claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, and external reporting.
• ETL: extract, load, model, and reconcile large data sets across multiple systems.
• Review data to determine operational impacts and communicate actions to management.
• Create reports and deliverables for management; model data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other warehouse tools.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with reporting requirements through audits.
• Assist with training and mentoring other data analysts; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Purpose

Responsible for analytic data needs of the business unit. Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts.

Key Details

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Prefer candidates with intermediate Power BI experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, along with intermediate SQL skills and the ability to write queries from scratch.

Healthcare data experience and customer service or call center analytics experience are strongly preferred.

Additional preferred skills include data modeling and experience with Snowflake, Python, Power Automate, and Databricks, as well as familiarity with modern analytics technologies such as Git, AI-assisted development, AI agents, and cloud-based analytics platforms.

Experience developing enterprise data assets, including KPI design and development, analytical and reporting conventions, and complex business logic, is also preferred.

Responsibilities

This role will be heavily focused on Power BI solutions such as creating dashboards and visualizations for call center analytics.

Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting.

Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.

Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management.

Develop reports and deliverables for management.

Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools.

Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.

Assist with training and mentoring other data analysts.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
