JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Contact Center Agent - Revenue Specialist III in the General Tax Administration Program's, Taxpayer Services Process, Collections Unit. The incumbent assists taxpayers with departmental billings, delinquencies, and audit assessments. The incumbent also takes appropriate actions to resolve accounts, provides leadership to Revenue Specialist IIs, conducts quality reviews, and provides training of system navigation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Six months of experience researching and resolving account issues in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
PREFERENCES:
  • Preference may be given for bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates.
SPECIAL NOTES:
  • The successful candidate will be required to answer a large volume of calls up to 7.5 hours a day.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,599.98 monthly/$43,199.76 annually.
