CONSUMER SERVICES MANAGER – SCHOOL AGE
The Organization
North Los Angeles County Regional Center “NLACRC” is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC is one of the largest regional centers in California and has proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley since 1974. We serve individuals across the lifespan from infants and toddlers, school age children, transition-age youth, to adults and aging adults.

Receives supervision from the Consumer Services Director.
Department -Consumer Services - San Fernando Valley - School Age
The Position and Job Summary
General oversight of the School Age Department in the San Fernando Valley. Provides back-up support to and acts in the absence of the Consumer Services Director. Responsible for ensuring regulatory and contractual obligations are met for School Age consumer services. Ensures the development and maintenance of community relations and fosters partnerships, inclusive of active participation on workgroups, committees, and taskforces.
1. Provides leadership in accordance with the Center's mission and core values.
2. Assigns, reviews, and approves work of staff members.
3. Assist in hiring, training, directing and evaluating the operations of the School Age Department at the direction of the Consumer Services Director.
4. Participates in the Center's management team, may serve as staff support for Board committees.
5. Develops and oversees detailed and technologically advanced tracking systems for consumer activity as well as coordination of state audits, community outreach, and inter-agency collaboration.
6. Provides general supervision and consultation to Consumer Services-School Age Supervisors and department specialists.
7. Purchase of Service review and approval.
8. Monitors case management compliance with applicable Performance Standards and California Bargaining Agreement.
9. Provides/delegates consultation to case management staff regarding complex service needs/issues.
10. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Developmental disabilities; Regional Center (or related company) practices; computer usage; management and supervisory principles and practices.
A valid California Driver’s License and transportation, or acceptable substitute, required for this position.

This position is exempt. Salary Range: $111,093.27 - $149,975.91 Annually.
Base Pay Rate / Salary Range Information
The actual amount offered within the posted salary/pay rate range will depend on a variety of factors, including degree obtained/education, experience, skills and abilities, and other relevant job-related factors. The lower end of salary range applies to candidates who meet minimum qualifications or have limited years of relevant experience; the higher end of range will apply to seasoned candidates with considerable years of direct relevant experience.
