Major Duties


Classification: Exempt/Non-Bargaining

Position may be located remote. #LI-Remote

The Consumer Sales & Commission Analyst will manage the sales commission process inclusive of sales partner commissions, contests, accelerators, bonuses and performance spiffs. Including: daily commission related activities and reporting needs, collection and gathering of information and data to create coherent reports, then presenting reports to the team, management and sales partners. Using either available or collected data, draw insights that can be used to create actionable sales & commission strategies.

Pacific time zone strongly preferred.


Responsibilities


  • Calculation and processing of weekly commission and generation of applicable sales partner commission statements
  • Work with other teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions
  • Produce and maintain reports that track commission earnings and payouts
  • Collaborate with Sales Partner teams to resolve commission related questions
  • Manipulate data using data analysis tools to discover insights
  • Perform commission analysis to identify errors and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate commission records and documentation
  • Input sales and install data
  • Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively
  • Work collaboratively with programmers to create tools to collect and analyze data
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes and procedures for improvements in efficiency and reporting
  • Review third-party data to determine best practices for company success
  • Present actionable information and insights to management team and sales partners
  • Offer suggestions and direction from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers
  • Work jointly with different teams and departments to provide expertise and insight
  • Collaborate with management and finance to forecast commission costs, accruals and assist in managing to commission budget

Qualifications


  • Minimum education required is a degree in accounting, economics mathematics, business, marketing, computer science or related fields, or 4-6 years of applicable experience
  • Experience in managing and optimizing sales compensation plans and polices to drive business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software
  • Functional experience with database and spreadsheet software, high familiarity of MS Excel a must
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, familiarity of Tableau preferred
  • Currently knowledge of or ability to quickly learn data mining tools and techniques
  • Experience performing various forms of online research
  • Significant attention to detail and an ability to quickly spot and fix problems
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Detail-oriented and a strict attention and appreciation for deadlines
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
  • Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, a self-starter and a great team player. High standards and attention to detail are necessary to ensure production of quality timely work.

Salary


Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $65,000 - $85,000 annual salary plus bonus
