Job summary

Citi UK is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to support client fundraising in capital markets and advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, working with the Institutional Banking team on live deals.

The role involves building financial models, preparing valuations and pitches, researching market trends, and presenting clear recommendations while maintaining high standards of risk awareness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in client transactions and live deals as junior member of Investment Banking team.
• Organize and analyze financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct economic/financial research.
• Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends.
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and Citi policies.
