Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst in New York to support senior bankers in client transactions, financial analysis and deal pitches. You will help prepare valuations, models and strategic materials while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a 0–2 year track record, a finance-related degree, and licensing within a set timeframe. Full-time role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities in Institutional Banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration.
• Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses within 150 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior Corporate & Investment Bank officers and professionals and participate in client transactions as the junior member of the Investment Banking team.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct economic/financial research.
• Evaluate companys financial performance compared to industry and market trends.
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citigroup policies, escalating control issues with transparency.
