The Consumer Lending Sales Specialist (CLSS) position is a performance-based, hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations. Responsibilities include meeting performance goals and metrics for the center as defined by management, requiring attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for sales and customer acquisition. This position is also responsible for marketing and collection efforts, both internally and externally.
Customer Service, Sales, Marketing & Customer Acquisition: Assist in meeting the center’s performance metrics as defined by management. Utilize sales tools to provide an exceptional customer experience and use sales and marketing techniques to drive new customer growth into storefront and online channels. Manage a consumer loan portfolio, present financial solutions based on customer needs, and educate customers on loan terms and conditions.
Operations, Compliance, & Collections: Manage the P&L to meet budgeted numbers and adhere to company policies and regulations. Maintain accurate cash controls, enter customer and transaction information accurately, and document collection activities.
Team & Leadership: Work closely with others in a positive, team environment to enhance the customer experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Sales and/or customer service experience required; one year of experience in sales, retail, banking, or collections preferred.
Strong math skills; professional verbal communication; ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply complex information; ability to negotiate payment terms; understanding of compliance with industry policies and laws; proficiency in computer programs for processing transactions.
Standing for long periods; sitting occasionally; walking; bending; lifting less than 20 lbs.; must have access to insured and reliable transportation for work-related tasks.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to insured, reliable transportation. Ability to travel within the division for marketing, collections, staffing, and banking responsibilities.
Employees may wear professional attire such as polos, blouses, collared shirts, slacks, or jeans.
Must be 18 (19 in AL), eligible to work in the USA, and able to complete all post-offer screens, including background checks. Regular attendance is required, with schedules subject to change to meet business needs. Overtime may be required.
