The Consumer Lending Sales Specialist (CLSS) position is a performance-based, hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for sales and customer acquisition. Responsibilities include developing, assisting, and participating in all marketing and collection efforts, both internally and externally.
Customer Service, Sales, Marketing & Customer Acquisition: Actively assist in meeting the center’s performance metrics as defined by management. Utilize sales tools to provide an exceptional customer experience and employ sales and marketing techniques to ensure the branch drives new customer growth. Be responsible for day-to-day servicing of a growing consumer loan portfolio. Present financial solutions based on customer needs, develop new relationships, and maintain existing ones throughout the loan process. Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loans to ensure a clear understanding of the products selected.
Operations, Compliance, & Collections: Assist in managing the P&L to meet budgeted numbers and management expectations related to center performance. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate cash controls and ensure security procedures align with company standards. Enter customer and transaction information accurately into the point of sales system and maintain accurate customer files. Perform and document collection calls and other approved collection activities.
Team & Leadership: Work closely with and support others in a positive, team environment to enhance the customer experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Sales and/or customer service experience required, or equivalent experience. One year of experience in sales, retail, banking, or collections preferred.
Strong math skills, professional verbal communication, ability to read and apply complex information, and ability to interact professionally. Knowledge of compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing the industry is essential.
Standing for long periods, sitting occasionally, walking extended distances, lifting less than 10 lbs. occasionally, and access to reliable transportation for tasks including banking and marketing.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to insured, reliable transportation. Ability to travel within the division for marketing, collections, staffing, and banking responsibilities.

Must be 18 (19 in AL), eligible to work in the USA, and able to complete all post-offer screens, including a criminal background check and reference check. Regular attendance is required, and schedules may change to accommodate business needs. Overtime may be required.
