Job summary

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Auto Titles Manager to lead the title department, ensuring all vehicle titles are accurately inventoried, processed efficiently, and compliant with regulations.

You will mentor title clerks, supervise end-to-end title processing, manage lienholder and vendor relationships, and partner with leadership to drive operational improvements and service excellence.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience focused on auto title processing.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with dealerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of title clerks by providing ongoing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of accuracy and productivity.
• Supervise the end-to-end processing of vehicle titles, ensuring strict adherence to all state and federal regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with lienholders, state motor vehicle departments, dealerships, and third-party vendors to facilitate title transfers and resolve complex issues.
• Implement and maintain a robust title inventory and filing system to ensure all titles are accurately tracked and accounted for.
• Investigate and resolve title-related discrepancies, including missing documents, incorrect information, and lien release challenges.
• Track and report on daily service levels, including staffing efficiency, response times, and task volumes by monitoring queues, phone activity, and workflow metrics.
• Partner with senior leadership, servicing teams, and cross-functional departments to identify and implement strategies that drive operational improvements.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to support title audits and ensure regulatory standards are consistently met.
• Lead and support testing initiatives related to core system upgrades, updates, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and develop new SOPs as needed to reflect evolving processes and best practices.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Proficient in Velocity, DNA and ARCos systems

The estimated salary for this role is $94,570.00 - $113,484.00 annually.
