A regional credit union in New York is seeking a Consumer Lending Manager to oversee operations focusing on underwriting and funding processes. The successful candidate will supervise teams, develop the loan portfolio, and interact with various departments. Requirements include three to five years of underwriting experience, two to three years of management experience, and a relevant degree. This is a full-time position that offers a pay range of $76,900 to $90,000 per year, along with various benefits including medical and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of consumer lending underwriting experience.
• Minimum two to three years of management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient manner.
• Excellent judgement and decision-making abilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and oversee all Consumer Lending department operations.
• Meet with direct reports monthly to review performance.
• Establish and deliver annual goals that align with Credit Union goals.
• Work with internal departments to strengthen cross-departmental relationships.
• Manage a competitive Indirect Lending Program with dealer relationships.
• Generate, maintain and analyze monthly reports for loan growth and productivity.
• Lead teams to create efficiencies and implement new processes.
• Underwrite/Process loans in accordance with the Consumer Loan Policy.
