Job summary

BancFirst Corporation in Shawnee, OK is seeking an experienced Underwriting Consumer Loan Officer to build and manage a high-quality loan portfolio. In this role you will evaluate consumer real estate, consumer and construction loan requests, and promote BancFirst services through cross-selling.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years underwriting experience, knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending and Truth-in-Lending, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred or applicable experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending and Truth-in-Lending
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• This position may evolve into underwriting small commercial loans

REQUIREMENTS

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant use of computer screens and reading reports
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile
• Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
• Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials
• Ability to lift and/or move and carry 5 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
