Overview

The Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for combining consumer insights and consumer related market research, along with analytics, to influence business strategy, product design, go to market strategy, and other key business priorities for HARIBO of America. While partnering with external market research partners, this role will use curiosity and data to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them through the development and implementation of strong consumer research. The Consumer Insights Manager will lead the development and execution of our consumer learning plans, market research, and turn those insights into strategies that drive actions for the HARIBO of America business.

Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the ideal Consumer Insights Manager candidate will have 6+ years of experience in consumer research related roles, experience in the consumer goods industry, a Bachelor\'s Degre, experience partnering with market research firms (example: Ipsos) to execute consumer insights and market research studies, and experience working with consumer research tools (example: Kantar), and the ability to be equal parts strategic and tactical within a lean organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development and execution of HARIBO of America's consumer learning plans based on business priorities
  • Articulate consumer learnings and insights, turn those insights into strategies or recommendations that drive actions for the business
  • Partner with market research firms (for example: Ipsos) on the ideation and execution of consumer insights and market research studies
  • Utilize consumer research tools (example: Kantar). Understand shopper insights
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data as it relates to consumer and market research
  • Use curiosity and data to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them through the development and implementation of strong consumer research.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of work experience in consumer insights, consumer research, or other related roles
  • Experience working with consumer research tools (example: Kantar)
  • Experience partnering with market research firms (example: Ipsos) to execute consumer insights and market research studies
  • Prior experience in the consumer goods industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, or advanced Degree
  • Experience utilizing IRI, Circana, Nielsen scanner data
Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present to senior level Executives

Compensation

Target Hiring Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000 annually

This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting.

Please note, a candidate\'s offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate\'s relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.
