Job summary

Software Placement Group partners with a premier national law firm to recruit a Career Associate Attorney for its Consumer Financial Services Practice Group in Atlanta. You will join a high-performing litigation team representing financial institutions and service providers in complex disputes.

Responsibilities include handling a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, participating in hearings, preparing pleadings, and advising clients; ideal candidates have JD, bar admission, 2+

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing ability, analytical skills, and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
