Responsibilities

• Approve assigned complaints in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective communication with businesses and consumers throughout the complaint process.
• Compose letters, memoranda and reports.
• Analyze consumer complaints to ensure information completeness.
• Review and investigate all aspects of a complaint for possible violations.
• Confer with staff to determine if a statutory violation occurred.
• Review business responses and determine next steps.
• Document all complaint activities electronically.
• Respond to voicemails and emails promptly.
• Provide information and assistance to consumers during walk-ins.
• Promote a positive customer service mindset.
• Contribute to quality and productivity goals and meet turnaround time expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
