BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney for the Consumer Class Action Department in Los Angeles. The role involves handling complex consumer fraud, data privacy, and breach of warranty class actions alongside a dynamic team behind high-profile cases.

The candidate must be CA-licensed with 3+ years of litigation experience and strong research and writing skills, able to work independently and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• California Bar licensed and in good standing.
• 2+ years of Consumer Class Action or Data Privacy experience.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience.
• Outstanding legal research skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for managing multiple deadlines.
• Mediation experience; class action and appellate experience a plus.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft and file complaints for data breach cases efficiently.
• Draft and revise legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and memoranda.
• Participate in strategy sessions and case planning meetings.
• Review and analyze discovery materials to identify key evidence.
• Write and research pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Attend hearings and stay updated on relevant legal precedents.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare for expert depositions.
