Consumer Class Action/Privacy Litigation Associate Attorney - Mid Level

A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a dynamic and motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its high-performing Consumer Class Action & Privacy Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing docket of complex litigation, including high-volume class actions and privacy disputes, in a fast-evolving legal landscape.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.

Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.

3–6 years of substantive experience in class action litigation, privacy disputes, and/or mass arbitration.

Class Action Expertise: Experience withconsumer class actions in federal and state courts, and ideally familiarity with mass arbitration or privacy litigation.

Litigation Skills: Strong legal research, brief writing, and motion practice capabilities. Demonstrated success in managing discovery, including in class or mass proceedings.

Courtroom Experience: Involvement in arbitration, state, and federal court proceedings.

Team and Client Collaboration: Ability to work closely with partners and clients, with an eagerness to take on meaningful responsibility early in matters.

Soft Skills: Proactive, organized, solutions-oriented, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Clerkship experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Litigate Class Actions: Take an active role in defending consumer class action and privacy matters in court and arbitration.

Manage Discovery: Lead and support discovery processes, particularly in large-scale or multidistrict litigation.

Research & Writing: Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda with clarity, precision, and strategic insight.

Client Strategy: Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies aligned with evolving privacy and class action frameworks.

Multi-Matter Focus: Navigate multiple ongoing cases and shifting legal priorities with professionalism and poise.

  • Competitive Salary: Annualized salary range of $225,000 – $290,000, depending on experience and market factors.
