The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new clients to deepen relationships by booking business directly and referring to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banking, Commercial, and Treasury Management.

Responsibilities

1. Open accounts and perform maintenance functions.
2. Support client engagement through active calling, conversations, and follow-up.
3. Align daily activities with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience).
4. Partner with internal teams to provide expertise for clients.
5. Ensure timely client follow-up calls.
6. Maintain operational and risk management standards.
7. Assist clients in transacting business via branch, drive-thru, phone, and email.
8. Model the bank's mission and values.
9. Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
10. Partner with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and attract, retain, and grow client relationships.
11. Act as a trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model.
12. Participate actively in sales and service activities.
13. Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals.
14. Provide digital support for online banking services.
15. Stay informed about bank products, processes, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-4 years of client service experience in retail banking.
• 3-4 years of sales and service success in retail environments.
• High school diploma or GED; may obtain notary authorization.
• Strong bank product knowledge and sales skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Leadership abilities and decision-making skills.

Physical and Compliance Requirements

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and bank policies.
