What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patients are properly registered for all service lines and verify eligibility
- Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations, and manage financial arrangements
- Maintain communication with clinical partners to enhance patient experience
- Provide timely coverage for assigned work area to ensure prompt patient service
- Handle PBX (switchboard) functions as needed, including answering calls and paging

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of experience
- Ability to maintain effective communication with clinical and patient access departments
- Strong time management skills to meet attendance and punctuality requirements
- Proven problem-solving skills to verify patient identity and minimize record duplication
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical necessity standards

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of relevant healthcare experience
- Prior experience in collections
- One year of customer service experience
- One year of direct patient access experience
- Associate's degree
