AdventHealth in Denver, CO seeks a Patient Financial Counselor to perform Medicare compliance reviews, estimate patient financial responsibility, and coordinate pre-authorizations. You will interact with patients, insurers, and staff to ensure smooth care navigation and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed.
• Create accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collect payments or establish payment plans.
• Coordinate with utilization management staff for pre-authorization issues and provide necessary information to patients.
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations within established timeframes.
• Register patients for all services, ensuring accuracy and minimizing duplication of medical records.

Job Description
